Sven Ortega-Bieri is the driving force behind our financing division and brings extensive expertise in real estate and years of banking experience as a member of the executive board and board of directors. With his holistic advisory approach, Sven provides comprehensive and sustainable support to his clients, always seeking cross-functional solutions that create long-term value. His motto, “The future depends on what you do today,” reflects his open-minded and goal-oriented mindset, making him a highly competent partner for real estate and financing matters.
In 2008, a particularly eventful year for the banking world, Sven completed his apprenticeship as a certified banker (EFZ) at a regional bank in Interlaken. Following his vocational baccalaureate and experience in customer advisory roles, he joined UBS in Bern, where he gained insights into various areas and built valuable skills and networks.
Sven further deepened his knowledge with a diploma as a Certified Banking Specialist HF, gaining expertise in wealth management, mortgages, real estate, taxes, and more, enabling him to provide in-depth customer advice. His passion for real estate grew steadily during this time, ultimately leading to his transition to the Swiss Property Owners Association in 2020.
Sven lives with his family in Thun and enjoys the diverse opportunities the area has to offer. Spending quality time with his family is especially important to him—whether on shared adventures, traveling, or relaxing in nature.
